While we’d like you to be cool, we hardly have any standards as such, and we’re certainly not asking for headshots and then dismissing you as a candidate if we don’t approve of your haircut or shirt. Simply wishing to move to Historic Downtown Savannah automatically gives you needed points to be one of the 1000 Cool People. But I will say that you do need to come through this site, simply because you cannot show up in Savannah tomorrow and ask for your goodie package. We’re going to work together to find you a place, both to live and in the community as a whole. And we do expect a lot of people applying to be one of the 1000 Cool People, so it would be better to jump on the boat sooner than later. Because once the site goes viral, and I’m appearing on Oprah to promote it, you’re going to have a lot more competition.

Just sent your way-cool pitch to my sis and bro-in-law in NYC, who are making baby-steps towards moving down here. They will definitely come once their kids are in college, but that’s 10 years away! So to get them excited, I thought maybe we could get them to read this blog and see what all the fuss is about. They love the idea of living downtown, as they are serious urbanites (we grew up on Gaston Street), so please tell them what they’re missing by not relocating now!
